Why Do So Many Network Marketers Fail

Have you asked yourself this question? Why do so many network marketers fail?

If I am not mistaken the statistics are about 90% fail to make the big money that so many are led to believe you can earn with your company.

I would venture to say that over the past 10 years, tens of millions of hardworking success minded individuals have taken up this business model in the hopes of creating a better life for themselves and their family. Your upline and the company have training systems for you to follow yet still the vast majority fall by the wayside.

The common denominator is every one had received the same training from their uplines and corporate. So why the big failure rate?

Every one had the “opportunity to purchase from their uplines the network marketing “how-to” training books, motivational books , CD’s, DVD’s Seminar’s
(the seminar’s my upline put on where no chump change it was $500.00 for a single person 700.00 if I brought my husband with) more thoughts on that later........

These were scheduled 4/5 times a year and always promoting that you can’t get to the next rank level if you don’t attend

We devoured the information we had bought. We memorized all the network marketing clichés. Sat back in awe of the leaders rags to riches stories The way they got there was thru following the upline training and if you did not follow it you would fail. But after 9 months in the business probably 5% who started when we did were actually making money with it. So what was the holy grail – the secret if you will?

This is where we put the screeching breaks on and started looking around for competent training from people who had experience in this field of network marketing.

I believe that when ever you start any new Endeavour being a new job, business, hobby etc you have to learn the basic’s or the fundamentals of how and why it works. You have to learn a new set of skills in order for it to be successful.

One of the big problems I encountered in my network marketing business was taking people who have never done this type of work or business and only teaching them how easy it is that you can go from making no money from when you first start to being able with a lot of work by talking to people and magically you will be successful. That’s like a baby taking its first steps and in one year going to college it does not work that way.

So I kept asking myself …..why are not more people being successful when they have the training available to them…why is the success rate so extremely low in network marketing in every company?

THEY FAIL BECAUSE THE TRAINING THEY RECEIVE IS GROSSLY INCOPETENT AND GROSSLY INEFFECTIVE.

When we first came upon Tracy Biller and The Ultimate Success CD’s and started to wrap my mind around his teaching and training I will be frank with you I was not buying it at first. However a funny thing happened in that time frame, A few of the biggest leaders in our upline were being sued for going after a company they had been involved with previously.

What Tracy’s training made me see and become aware of is that there is a ton of network marketing training that teaches distributors “what they want to hear” The fluff. The major HYPE and you to can be a rags to riches story. Tracy tells it the way it really is in this business. He is not for the faint of heart. He is direct and blunt and he gives no sugar coating to how to succeed if that is what you truly want. You see there is the key DO YOU REALLY WANT IT? If you do then there are some skill sets you will have to learn to do.

Take a look at your company and the leaders who have reached success and I will bet you they have some common traits amongst them. A few of them are:
1. Leadership
2. They know how to Speak
3. They know the art of Persuasion
4. They know how to create Momentum
5. They know how to Motivate their team
6. They know how to do a business plan

I would also be willing to bet that it took them anywhere from 5 to 20 years to develop these traits. Now you don’t have to wait that long you can develop these skills a heck of a lot faster and easier with Tracy’s Training

Who is your target market?

When we first go involved with our company we were told to make a list of all our friends and family and then keep adding to it. People we had not talked to in oh let's say 25 years put em on the list. Going thru your high school year books meaning I had been out of high school for 26 years Hmmm . Every job you had worked at since high school..reconnect I thought heck why not try to track down those people. The biggest earner's in the company were doing it.
I mean heck that is what the guru's on stage said to do and we wanted to be successful ....so do as I say not as I do........

Well you can imagine how shocked I was when I started to follow Tracy Billers Ultimate Success training. What a concept going after people who had already expressed the desire to be in this business. That's right your target market is other network marketer's. It is that simple. As I started to watch what was going on in my company I started to pay attention to who the leaders were bringing on board as well as other network marketing companies and their leaders.
Don't be fooled by the top earners in your company. Know that in order to build a large distribution team they have to have business builders who are familiar with the network marketing business.

O.K. We Are In...Now What?

You have got a great product thru your network marketing company that you just love and know everyone in your opinion needs to have it. Now what? If you are like us we sought out to find every bit of information and training we could put our hands on. Remember we did not know the first thing about running a network marketing business so naturally it was easy to follow our upline and their upline to get the training we needed to become successful. We followed what the successful distributor's in our company were doing. Go to every home tasting party our upline scheduled, go to "super opens" where the biggest earners would be speaking. Attend NDO's (new distributor orientation) an then you had the upline Guru putting on the leadership, reunion, dream day conferences. Now we have the corporate events regional and international conventions. (You company may have different name's for these function;s) Last but not least you need "tools" to be in business. You need a website, business card's, magazines with the product listed, CD's and DVD's and on and on.

After following what we were suppose to do we just were not getting the results that in the training we were suppose to have. This went on for 9 months until finally after spending thousands of dollar's it was time to go back to the drawing board and get back to the basics of business. What I mean by that is when you start a business you roll your profits in the business and that is not what we did. So I took a very long look and did some research into this thing called network marketing as a whole and came up with some pretty surprising results.You have to know the fundamentals to how this business work's. Not what your upline is telling or training you to do. If something does not work stop doing it over and over again. I will admit it was a very expensive lesson to learn.

I am going to show you what the fundamental's to network marketing are so it will save you a whole lot of money in your journey to your network marketing success. If you understand how it work's you will have a better understanding of how to make it work.

Introduction - About Us

Hi and Thank You so much for stopping by our blog. My name is Cheri Fish and I am truely excited and over the top about this mysterious and lucrative business called Network Marketing
I would like to warn you first as this is not a "warm and fuzzy" feel good mindset nor is it about
making a million dollars in the the next 4 months. If you are looking for a "get rich quick scheme" Please click off this blog right now as you will not find any of that hype here

My husband Mark and I have been involved with an extremely successful network marketing company for 2 year's now this April 2009. I am very proud to say it is the fastest growing company in the Direct Sales catagorie and has broken the billion dollar mark in sales with only being around 4 years..... that is remarkable. O,K, sorry that was a little hypey.

I say this to you not to brag but to let you know that we did not always feel this way about the
company. In fact I was dead set against this and any other MLM network marketing type of business models because of the hype and quite frankly the dog and pony show that would go on when ever you went to "ONE OF THOSE MEETINGS" being at a hotel or someones home.

After 7 years of having rentals and managing them ourselves it was hard to take people at face value without seeing some ulterior motive behind it. What we started to see is other real estate people who we knew from the different investor meetings having some fantastic results with earning passive income with the company and that is what got our attention. You see I LOVE PASSIVE INCOME. We learned this thru rentals by buying a house renovating it once and getting paid monthly over and over again....Passive income + doing something once and getting paid for it over and again for the same work.
